Overview of the Region

CoastCityCountry consists of 3 Local Training Groups: the Illawarra/Shoalhaven, Southern NSW/ACT and Riverina/ Murrumbidgee.

The northern region begins with Illawarra, bordering on southern Sydney, and continues through to Milton/Ulladulla and down to the spectacular southern coast of NSW. The region crosses the Snowy Mountains and the Southern Tablelands and continues westwards across the Riverina high country to the large regional centre of Wagga Wagga, the wineries of Griffith, and the “outback” at Hay and Hillston.

City life, cafes, cinemas, galleries, cultural events and country towns are scattered throughout the region and add diversity, interest and recreational opportunities.

Registrars can enjoy all the experiences of urban, rural and more remote rotations, as desired, with either no or minimal disruption to lifestyle.
